For real this time

So the last move date was a false alarm. I just wasn't ready to leave my friends and my mom and my room and all the things that make up my life. I'm still not ready, but I'm leaving Thursday morning because that's registration day, and there's also a class picnic type thing which will hopefully be a good chance to meet some people, although at my last school hardly anybody went to those things. I'm going to try and play volleyball this year, although my school doesn't have a team, so I'd have to play at another school. My mom has left a message with the coach of that team but it's been several days and she hasn't heard back, so who knows. I'm also considering Model UN, and the organizational meeting for that is this Saturday. On top of that, I still need to pick up a few supplies and figure out a first day outfit! Ahhhhh!!! I want to wear jeans, but I think it'll be too hot. Hopefully I'll get lucky with the weather, or if not I guess I'll have to figure something else out.

My Room!

This is my room at my mom's house! I'll miss it a ton when I leave, I've spent years making this room mine. (Also, you know how yesterday I said I was moving tonight? It's tomorrow or Wednesday night. False alarm). Hopefully I'll be able to make my room at my dad's as cool as this :)

Holy Shit!

I'm moving TOMORROW night. School starts in two weeks. I don't know when I'll be back here. Holy shit, scary thoughts! I'm actually kind of excited, it feels like all my friends here have been ignoring me :( Also, pre-season for volleyball practices started today, so I'll be able to make it to three of the five, which will be nice. I'm excited to meet some new people, and it will be nice to meet a few girls before school starts. Still, I'm really bummed about most of my friends here ignoring me. It's not fun at all. Hopefully things will get better!

School Shopping!

I did a bit of school shopping today (for clothes, not supplies) and I got three pairs of jeans, a shirt-dress thing that I can wear over leggings, a cute tank top, and a t-shirt! Love all of it of course, but I still need a back to school outfit, since it will probably be too hot for jeans on the the first day! I'm debating a pair of yellow short-shorts (which are very short) that make my legs look long and tan, but I don't want to break the dress code...hmmm. And then there's the issue of a top to wear, but I've got plenty of those lol. If you have a first day outfit, share it; I could use some inspiration! After all, you only get one shot at a first impression :)

Welcome to my blog! I created this blog because this year I'm starting at a new school in a new city, and I don't know anyone. But I figured there are lots of other people who are doing the same thing or will have to in the future, so maybe this blog will help people out. I'm going to write about social strategy, clothing/beauty, and just school and life in general. I like to think I have great style, but that's up for readers to decide. I'm not going to lie, I'm shit scared but I'm also excited. This is my new beginning.
